Skate Island UK is an outdoor roller disco and entertainment space at Newcastle Racecourse. A purpose-built roller rink, live DJs, themed events, street food and fully stocked bars - all brought together in one summer experience. Each ticket includes a 90-minute skating session with skate hire, designed for all ages and abilities.
NOT SKATING? NO PROBLEM
Our Beach Club is open to everyone, with free entry for non-skaters to enjoy drinks, food and the atmosphere.
THE ROLLER RINK
The heart of Skate Island. A purpose-built outdoor roller disco designed for all abilities, from first-timers to confident skaters. Each session includes skate hire and runs for 90 minutes, with live DJs setting the tone throughout. Expect themed nights, high-energy sessions and a proper roller disco atmosphere from start to finish.
THE BEACH CLUB
A relaxed outdoor space open to everyone — no skating required. Enjoy a mix of karaoke, arcade games, live entertainment, street food and sweet treats, alongside a main bar and cocktail bar. There’s also a sand pit and play area, plus a tipi seating area open to all, also available for private hire.
